The maximum volumetric capacity for cooking is 3/4 of the total capacity of the item. Position the utensil handle facing the center of the stove. On stoves with grates, center the item over the flame or heat source and align the handle with the grate. Hot utensils should be kept out of the reach of children. Before using for the first time, wash with a soft sponge and mild soap or liquid detergent.

After drying, grease the inside with oil or fat and cook for one or two minutes. Let it cool and wash again.
