Rest assured that we’ve taken every precaution, using the latest security technology to ensure your personal details are safe and secure with us. All sensitive information you provide is encrypted using industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer technology, and we partner with a leading South African payment processor. We also insist that all credit card payments use 3D Secure processes (such as MasterCard’s SecureCode and Verified by Visa) so you will be prompted for a one-time PIN when purchasing to prevent you from fraudulent transactions. In short, this means that we’ve done everything we can to ensure that your details are always safe and secure.
Once you have everything you need, click on your trolley (the icon top right of the screen), you will be able to proceed to checkout and then pay with one of the secure payment methods. We will process your order as soon as a successful payment is received.
By law, every customer must have a valid TV licence when purchasing a television set or any appliance with a built-in TV[TC1] . For more information on the requirements to buy a television, please visit the SABC website.
The products you have added to your trolley will remain there until you either remove them, or they are automatically removed if they are no longer available for online shopping. Prices may change over time, especially as products can go on and off promotion. Be sure that the price that is in your checkout trolley is the best price available at Makro at that point in time.
To the right of each item in your cart, there is a black (x) button that will remove the item from your trolley. You are also able to remove all the items from your cart by selecting Remove All at the bottom of the cart.
You will receive an order confirmation notification via email.
Once you are logged into online shopping, you can access My Account, and navigate to My Profile. You will have the ability to edit, add or delete any delivery or billing addresses. You can also change your address at the checkout stage.
Refunds will be processed against the type of payment made for the purchase i.e. credit card or EFT and for the exact price paid. A refund can take up to 7 working days to reflect in your bank account. Note that EFT refunds will require verification of your banking details, so please allow 7 working days from the time an online agent has confirmed your banking details for the refund to reflect.
We allow 48 hours for you to conclude an EFT payment. Should the payment not be made in this timeframe, the order will be cancelled.

3D Secure is an initiative by Visa and MasterCard to add an extra level of security when using your credit card online. A 3D Secure-enabled credit card will require the entry of a one-time PIN before your order can be placed. If you have never set your credit card up for 3D Secure one-time PINs, your bank will automatically take you through the process the first time you try and pay.
We only deliver within the borders of South Africa, our standard lead time for delivery is 2-5 business days.
We provide a facility for you to track your order online. Once logged onto online shopping, navigate to My Profile and My Online Orders to view the status of your order or orders, alternately contact us on 010 001 8416 or send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Unfortunately, all items sold online are only available for delivery directly to you.
We have a "track and trace” status that can be viewed when you log into your profile. You will also be receiving SMSs from our appointed delivery partner when your parcel is on route to you.
The delivery cost for orders over R1500.00 is free. The delivery cost for orders below R1500.00 is R120.00.
Our standard delivery timeline is 2-5 business days nationwide. The delivery timeline is indicated on the product pages and on your tax invoice. Deliveries usually take place between 8am - 5pm Monday's to Friday's.
Please contact our Online Support Centre on 010 001 8416. If the order has not been dispatched, we will correct the address for you. You can also create an enquiry on your order confirmation page.
If you are not happy with your purchase, you have up to 7 days to return it to any of our stores for a refund. Please ensure you retain all packaging, manuals and accessories. A standard return fee of R120.00 will be charged for the return of your order.

You will then be prompted to select the reason for a return of which damaged on arrival will be an option. After uploading a picture of the damaged item you can then select submit.
Our support team will then be in contact with you to assist with a return and replacement.
